Remyca got back to winning ways in a hhard fought home win to Stockport Town. Remyca went 1-0 early on when a ball forward between Harris and Flynn caught the defence out and as Keeper Carrol rushed out the Town forward dinked the ball over the advancing keeper to put the visitors 1-0 on 13 minutes, a bad start for the home side looking to get back to winning ways after a draw and a defeat in their last 2 games. It wasnt long beofre they were back on track though and a shot from McGrane hit the bar and bounced out kindly for McDonald to head home to make it 1-1 on 15 minutes. Remy then went a scored again 6 minutes before the half when a ball through saw Boyle finish calmly to put the remy 2-1. It didnt last long and les than 2 minutes later the score was all square again as Keeper Carrol came for a cross and the ball spilled out, as the shot came in it was deflected inot the net to make it 2-2 at HT.

Remyca came out in the second half trying to make amense for the slack defending in the first half. They didnt have to wait long to regain the lead when a cross across the box from Quirk seemed to elude both Foley and McDonald before Centre Back King was on hand a the back post to side foot home to put the home side 3-2 up. Remyca were on top now and had Town on the back foot as they tried t kill the game off. Boyle then got his second goal as he was put  through his slid his shot under the advancing keeper to give remy some breathing space. Stockport still dangerous on the break and a smart save from Carroll kept the Remy's 2 goal lead intact. Remyca then made it 5-2 when they won a corner, the cross came in and young 17 year old Niall Gannon fired his shot into the corner to score his first league goal for the club. Remyca pressed to get more goals but were then punished late on after a long spell of pressure they gave the ball away cheaply and a ball forward left them short with Stockport forcing the ball home to make it 5-3 in the last 2 minutes. That was the last of the goal action on a night Remy needed to get back to winning ways.
