Nein, Nein, Nein!
30th July 2016 by Remyca Media TeamRemyca's Lengthy Liverpool Senior Cup campaign ends abruptly
On a fairly decent day for football the occasion turned out to be a bit of a nightmare for Remyca as Prescot Cables left Litherland Sports Park with a 0-9 win - There's a story to that though......
On just five Minutes, Remyca keeper' David Potter charged out of the box and brought down a Prescot Cables player who was running in on goal, as the player was the last man the referee awarded Potter with a straight Red Card putting The Remy' down to ten men. Unfortunately for Phil Stafford and his coaching staff, the home side had not named a substitute Goalkeeper in their subs so after a lengthy debate on the field, Captain Stephen King decided to go between the sticks.
Unfortunately, from that point on Prescot Cables made the extra man count and despite having Stephen King between the sticks, Remyca's performance resembled a horror novel worthy of his namesake.
The Cables then proceeded to do a fairly professional job and made their attacking advantage count. They scored three before half time and another six after the break.
The game was over after five minutes really.
